The attude of VWA is the same or similar to that of the majority of dealers/importers,and after a life working in the motor trade many for the late Leyland Aust and it's dealers, we/they all work on the premise of "Stonewall long enough and the customer will go away" that is he either gives up or sells the vehicle and purchases another brand,and if you advertise enough it drowns out the poor quality of a given product.
Then as always, there are Monday & Friday cars (quality????) in all makes,but less in Asian brands as their factories work 24/7
It is only now that Quality Control is high on the agenda for Land Rover's current owners that the quality has improved.
