    Some Drivers Suck

Just got back home from the Dr,s , and cant believe some of the antics displayed by some of the drivers both male and female or (feperson) , would appear some of them had no wish to get to the other side of Christmas .
I have no idea what goes on between the ears of some people , Merry Xmas to all here !!!!!.

on the other hand why do they drive so slow. 75 in the 100 zone, staying right, just living in a dream land like they are the only one on the road. Then when you get the ****s and take off like a scalded cat past them they wonder what's up you. damed if you do, damed if don't.

Or speeding , overtaking on double lines , overtaking into on coming traffic , texting/talking on mobile phone , not merging with safety , no indicators when exiting roundabouts , tailgating at the speed limit , driving with Hi beams on , etc etc etc .

I recently helped a friend drive a road train from Darwin to Townsville, and was amazed at the antics of car drivers in front of a fully loaded truck towing 3 trailers, lucky for me when I drove most of the cars were well away and the ones we seen had some sense.

There are plenty of drivers that seem as tho they don't want to see 2014.

    Thumbs down

Driving properly is an art, & should be enjoyed.
But some people have no idea about that, it's just a means of getting from A to B, they have no "feeling" for their car, anybody elses car, or anybody else on the road.
These people might have somehow passed their driving test, but have no real idea of how to drive.
    Cheers, Pickles.

    Ahhh...........groan........ahhhhhhhh

    What is it with roundabouts

Idiots sitting there waiting to give way to a car that is 200 bloody metres from the roundabout

And I haven't even started on the idiots who must use their damn phones

Even had one bloke tell me "You don't understand Kev, I have to, just have to, use it for business"

What about the poor bastard who wants to live because he has a family I bet he cares for your business when you run him over or hit his car

    Texting.

These guys take my cake. I especially enjoy the head down looking-at-the-lap pose. Seriously? The road is in the up position guys. And Pickles nailed it when he said some people just dont enjoy driving. Good luck out there guys.

    My couple of favourites are:

The driver who has the slam on the brakes and then swerve into your lane because the one they are in has either a parked car or a driver turning right that everyone could have been seen for at least 500m but they only realise it is there just before their front bumper comes into contact with it.

My other favourite is the woman who while driving on the motorway is trying to put on her mascara and do her hair while drinking a latte and updating her facebook profile to ensure all her friends are aware that she is wearing the red shoes with the blue top today.

My other one is the person who is sitting in a right turn lane at a set of lights but stops back 10 metres from the sensor so three light phases come and go without getting the arrow. When you kindly ask them to move up they claim you are a road rager.

Have a great Chrissy and a safe and prosperous 2014

    Know what you mean.

Travelling Lismore to Sydney on Monday we encountered:

Driver doing 50 in an 80 zone, which contined for 10 kilometres between Coramba and Coffs, with up to 40 vehicles queued up behind her Hyundai.

Zooming down the motorway south of Taree at 110 and suddenly a bloke just pulled out from the roadside, apparently without even looking. Fortunately I was watching him coming, realised he wasn't stopping, and was able to flash him, veer right into the centre lane, brake hard and avoid him, but it was a bit hairy there for a minute. Not sure if the Disco wold have stopped as quickly as the Yaris did, but I suppose at least if I'd hit his Hilux in the Disco it would have totalled the Hilux.

Some people are just in a world of their own!
