    Mate,

You could go to the council and grab two council-approved trees and plant them either side of the driveway on the nature strip. Star picket them for "protect from the wind', precast concrete ring around them, etc.

Or if you (and your mum ) are looking for trouble, set up a CCTV camera on the garage, get a collection of driving misdemeanours and take it to the cops/council for action.

Get your mum to use their drive and lawn to get to her drive.

Always park at the bottom of the drive.

As they're renting she could complain to the department of consumer affairs - there's forms online - in regards to community safety.
The land lord and real estate agency is bound by law to do something about it.

Complaints are anonymous too - though I'd be kind of obvious who made it though...

must be related to our renting neighbors. only difference is they have two off street parking areas, a corner block, but insist on using the same approach to park on the nature strip. i do take great fun in blocking the access route then sit back and watch the multi point exit manouveres !

I know how she feels..although at least I dont have to be subjected to it daily..

There is a couple of women that ride their horses down through the national park at the back of my place but rather than drive their cars and floats down there they park up outside the front of my house in the nature strip..

I have never minded this before as they have never been much of a drama, however last time they came..I was sat on my front veranda (which they didnt know) this blob of a women pulled up right next to my garden fence...unloaded her cob and parked the cob right next to the fence.

my dogs were out the front (sat there watching her quietly) and one of them barked once..she was like stop it. I ignored it then she was doing something near the fence again and the dog barked again...

she proceeded to then start shouting at my dogs telling them to get lost and shut up etc etc...

I stood up and said Oi don't scream at my dogs and then it was on. she was going to call the police and everything.

I explained to the women not to shout at my dogs while they are in their garden that she is parked directly in front of...I said you don't like it then don't park here and **** off!!

She was like I will park where I want!!!

I said a few suggestive things about her trailer and she promptly reversed it down the road a bit and parked up although she probably didn't realise she was still parked outside my property but at least she wasn't annoying my dogs.

felt so sorry for her horse she was a bit of a unit

Looking at the slope of the land , I'd say the sewer and water are underground at the front so try to avoid digging to deep. As somebody else said a decorative boulder with your mums house number on it, as a "present" or maybe 2 one each side of the driveway. They would only need a shallow concrete base so would not impact on the mains. The other option is over water the hedge , with several of the sprays pointing to far to the left,so the neighbours front yard becomes very wet . Being Landry owners we know what happens to wet dirt constantly driven on. It will make an interesting YouTube vid

Get a big junction box and nail it down on the verge, explain to the neighbour its a new NBN "node" and they're due to get fast access to porn, soon.
