Does the 101 still have the bed in it?
Give them your room and you and the boss could go "camping" every night
Sorry bud, I've got no leads for you.
Just thought I'd try here - we have some friends moving to Melbourne in Jan, and they will be staying at our place for up to a few months. Been thinking about how we can give them a bit of space during this time. I think I can get a caravan down the side of the house near my verandah, but I don't have the money to go out and buy one just for this.
Does anyone here - preferably close that has an old van they can loan/rent me cheap for a while?
It doesn't have to be big or flash, or even towable - I can put it on a truck to get it to my gate, then just push it around the back. Happy to conduct repairs on it if needed, it really just needs to keep out the rain, I have a mattress and everything else required. It doesn't need any cooking gear or fridge, etc.
Any leads, help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Cheers - Gav.

I'd be happy enough with that for a week or two, but this could be months - the novelty may wear off by then...![]()

You can get a permit to tow a a unregistered caravan. Not that expensive. Short distance only though. That bit I conveniently forgot when shifting a van. Do have some van plates that would make it less obvious with a permit of course.
