What AULRO stickers are these? I don't like to oversticker my Defender but I have a Keysbrook Burger sticker and a Remote Equipment Repairs sticker (made my beloved seat covers) on the driverside rear window. I'd happily put an AULRO sticker up.
I will wave a Defender. In Perth my experience has been generally pretty positive; a nod or a small wave will elicit a response. One or two shiny new X-treme drivers have not returned a wave or even given any indication that they even notice other Defenders but they may not have seen me - they seem to drive pretty fast. I will say that I have been pleasantly surprised to see younger people driving Defenders and I'm not talking just groovey X-tremes. Seen a couple white 110s with P plates - gives you hope.
I won't wave every series vehicle but sometimes they look so good I have to. I don't wave Discos or Rangies in the city though I would in the country. There are too many of them here in town and I guess they'd be models with the highest non enthusiast ownership.
When I drove up north earlier this year, we almost made it to Broome having counted only 2 other Defenders. But this changed when we arrived in Broome, that place has to be the Defender capital of Australia. I think they must like alluminium trucks for the beach fishing. Counted 30 in two days - most had indications of being local not tourists.
Stickers can be found in our emporium
There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours
