One of my all time classics is the Roger Ramjet theme.

    Well anyway.
On a slightly more serious note, besides the great Tenors I am a sucker for Greek music.
    I love it.

Afro-American Work Songs in a Texas Prison

    Afro-American Work Songs in a Texas Prison - 01 / 02

These recordings were taken by the recently deceased Pete Seeger. Seeger and his wife Toshi Seeger, their son Daniel, and folklorist Bruce Jackson visited a Texas prison in Huntsville in March of 1966 and produced this rare document of work songs by inmates of the Ellis Unit.

If you ever wondered why there was such a distinct rhythm in some Afro-American songs the film shows why. The synchronisation of the axe or hoe fall is interesting to watch. Now let's not talk about workplace health and safety

It is great music to listen to while entering data into a spreadsheet for my research too.

Oh and there is this version of Afro-American Work Songs too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7QF32mxftE

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
