Thread: Broome AULRO members?

Yes . . . but I don't know any of them, I've just heard of some here and there over the years. Any reason?

Last I heard, Rob (bblaze) from Tassie was still up in Broome - working in one of the larger backpacker places.

Thanks. We are planning a road trip and will be up in that area late April/May.

Thought it would be nice to try and catch up with a few AULRO members if they are around and about.

Which way are you planning to travel Erich. You're definitely picking the right time of the year for that part of the world.

I fly in & out of Broome occasionally, but never spend any time there these days - just on the way out to Cockatoo Island or back again.

There's quite a few other members in places other than Broome up there as well. There's a couple in Port Hedland that I know of, and Davo is in Fitzroy Crossing if you're coming through from the NT.

And if you should happen to be travelling via Kalgoorlie on the way over or back, there's always somewhere to camp at our place if you need it.

Many thanks for the offer mate! We are actually going through Adelaide and across the Nullabor towards Perth then up the coast. It's been over 30 yars since we did a trip to WA that way. We have relatives in Ceduna and also around Adelaide we want to call in and see on the way.

Planning to head from Broome across to Gapuwiyak in Arnhem Land (if river crossings are open on the Gove track).
