Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Good on them for actually showing it in the first place.

They are out there and getting paid for it. Not sure that idiot is the right description.

    Bit of drama sells.

Hang on. Natural selection. My wife tells me I'm and idiot and I'd love to be paid to tour around the bush. Could have selected me.

I just don't like how they changed the story. I'm all for seeing some stuff ups and I know they would have been stressing a bit and not really thinking very well but why lie. The real story is fine.

    Happy Days.

why not just keep winching to see if that worked or flip the recovery vehicle around anchor it back and then use the winch....

why add the third snatch strap? reposition and pull on the better ground?

I've been in similar situations where fear sets in and you don't always make the right decisions.

At least their having a crack they could have edited it out.

I would not get myself into that sort of situation in the first place.
They were tempting fate going over the mud flat once but no.. Had to do it again because the camera missed it. But yes, they did well in such a situation.

I must say, I reckon it's a good watch. I watched the first series with enthusiasm as well, and enjoyed seeing where they went.

Like all the other shows, it seems to be one big advert for Toyo and TJM, but the scenery is amazing. I guess this is what real adventure is all about, and although I haven't watched yesterday's shows in they're entirety yet,, I did wake up as they tipped the car over,, I'm thinking that yes, in the heat of the moment, mistakes can be made. Whether it's pushing your luck to do one more crossing, or trying to get a better line, albeit on the wrong angle.

Just wish the shows were longer. Can't wait to get up that way myself.

From 'The Telegraph' (UK) Saturday, 25/01/14 (that's today, our time).
"Former Canadian defence minister: 'Aliens among us'
Former Canadian Defence minister Paul Hellyer says there are at least 80 different species of aliens, some of whom are already living among us on Earth."

The big question I have is why doesn't Simon have a navel? I think he either is an alien or has been cloned by aliens to spy on us. Is he scouting landing zones or habitats suitable for colonization? This show has many questions that need answering.
