If an Australian is a newsworthy in Australia and an Australian news agency pays for the story then the proceeds of the crime are in Australia and therefore it is quite possible for them to be conficated in Australia under proceeds of crime legislation.

AFP have an interest in this which I would like explained.

I remember the AFP Commissioner (Kelty?) gave a very unusual press conference canning Corby and family just before she was about to go to trial to explain herself.

Heads of police are rarely seen giving interviews, especially pre trial, so why this time?

A boogie board does not weigh a lot. The amount of dope was equivalent to the weight of two house bricks. Now if I picked up my lightweight luggage and it had two bricks that were not in it when I left, I would straight away know something was wrong.

There was a photo circulating that looked genuine a few years back. It was a Christmas photo with the family on a couch. In front of them was a coffee table with a load of drugs on it.

I am thankful I was away on holidays camping with no TV when she was released, and I only used the radio for bushfire info and the cricket.

This one is a Shapelle "look-alike".

Saw this on the TV last night. She probably won't make as many headlines as Shapelle did though - she's a Kiwi (and who knows - may not have a feral mum and sister to keep us all amused).

It is funny how whenever some one is caught with drugs it is never theirs and they don't know where it came from or how it got there.
