The Landys are all treasures. So is the Commodore for that matter.
Commodore? A treasure? You mean it should be buried on a beach?

Now, Mr sheerluck, that is a very nasty comment. Never repeat it within earshot of my Commodore. You may hurt it's feelings.

Nah, that's Italian car type of thinking. A few nice words, a little stroke of the dashboard, a prayer or two to whatever the god of unreliable electrics is called, and then turn the key.....

Could have been worse,, the council could have put one of those "Abandoned" stickers on it

Someone needs to complain to Council about an abandoned vehicle here in Brisbane before the council will go near it. They put a sticker on it after door-knocking nearby in an attempt to find an owner and after about 6 weeks a contractor picks it up and takes it to storage. Council then has to advertise that the car has been removed from a road. After another statutory period the council has to advertise that removed cars will be sold at public auction. So, council pretends not to notice abandoned vehicles until someone complains. If it is a popular make it will generally start to shrink until sometimes it just slowly vanishes.

You are lucky that it was the bombadore out the front. If it was your hybrid there would have been a thank you note left. Nah only kidding as you said they are all treasures .
