What is it with kids & mud?

Little Scouse & I just returned home from the local café & the rain restarted just as we arrived.
I thought I'd let him have a play in the rain for a bit as Mrs Scouse is out shopping with #2 son.

It didn't take him long to get stuck into the puddles .

I guess I should get him cleaned up before we both get into trouble

    Good to see Scouse.

Half the fun of being a kid is getting dirty. And so many parents don't let their kids get dirty.....

You have probably noticed a similar magnetic attraction that fire has for small boys.

They seem to be irresistibly drawn to poking a stick into the fire and waving the glowing end about with complete disregard for the safety of anyone in the immediate vicinity.

Young females have been known to exhibit similar behaviour, but the phenomenon is less pronounced.

Probably not today. He might struggle to get a fire started today.

It could be a lot worse!
Karen has hosed the boys of a few times before they are allowed into the bathroom to be cleaned. Some times she has even just chucked the clothes.

But it is fun in the mud and some people pay for mud baths

Both our sons are exactly the same; might be a boy thing. ..

We've got a hole in the front yard where I pulled out some yukkas, we fill it up on a hot day and they go nuts.
