    Is it just me?

Since I have bought my landrover I constantly have people ribing me for buying it. People saying they are sorry for me and asking me "why?"
So why does the landrover get such a bad name.
Any one would think I bought a jackaroo!! Geesh.

By the way it doesn't bother me because u know better.

It's a mindset instilled into Japanese 4x4 owners by other Japanese 4x4 owners that they must bag anybody that does not buy Japanese, they don't do it to Mercedes owners as they know that they could never afford one,and don't know anybody that does, so they bag other brand owners

You are a Landrover owner, rise above it,enjoy your vehicle and enjoy it's heritage

I now see the patrol and lancruiser crew much like the commodore and falcon crew. I grew out of that screen many years ago. I used to be a one eyed ford bogon until I drove a Datsun 240z. The Datsun out performed my v8 falcon in every way. I have now owned my 240z for over 10 years and will never let it go.
I think I will be much the same with my disco.

You want to ask the experts have they ever owned a Landy OR even driven one. The answer is usually No to both.

At the end of the day, how much credability does an Explorer owner really have
