RPM - Did you ever get a useful reply?? - or just banter from those that don't understand how fun snow is??? :?

I'm in Melbourne too and am about to start looking to buy a set of chains for the Disco..... wondered if you found any useful contacts - I've been looking at a set of heavy Koenigs that I can get for mid $300's .... but less would be good..

Dunno if its relevant - probably - but as I understand it, diamond pattern chains are best on snow as the diamond shape helps control side slip etc, as opposed to ladder chains (the more old fashioned kind) which are great in mud (but tear the hell out of the track in the process).

    Just my contribution.

I'm a shiftworker so have days of when the missus is working.
We like to go out together but as we only have 2 / 4 weekends together and also doing gardening, etc etc etc I don't get out half as often as I like.

But I do, at the same time, take any opportunity that presents itself.

Or were you looking for a facetious answer :?:

Only time I will see snow here is when I am voted as most sexy.

Have been told it will happen just as soon as hell freezes over :?
There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours
