ops: sorry Inc, maybe got a "little " carried away with my responses but it irks me no end to see some **** (make your own word in here to save litigation, but it starts with J ) come on here and start attacking one of our members with the crap that he was putting down! It was uncalled for and totally unnessecary, and just not on!

and barney i wasnt picking on just LROC, was generalising clubs in general,whether it be lroc,bill blogs 4wd trek abouts ,or whatever!
some are into the club scene ,some are not,it is just unfortunate that some seem to have a minority that think if people arent doing things their way it is all wrong, and want to change the world to their way of thinking! :?
having said that(and it is all just my opinion,and i have a right to it!) i will say no more on the subject!

I'm only new here and have no idea what was said, but obviously should never have been said, and I echo Barney's sentiments, re the club. There are some incredibly nice people who are members, as there are backsides, most of the backsides fade away and mess up other clubs as well,or get onto forums (only joking). [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

When someone slams a club they love, they then invite and are open to attack, so its better not to go there.

There is some bad history in the LROC, with kevoo44, snailbait, ragingrover and a number of others with good reason hence what happened happened. Luckily the others in the club havn't logged on yet to have a go and I hope they don't, in fact lifes too short to get annoyed this far down the track its ancient history.

Its a shame Mick you didn't give us a go, we would have been prepared to give you a go, maybe you may come to the Expo and have a chat, I won't be hard to find, up to you.

you will find most here are very tolerant and very helpful as long as they arent told how to think or behave, or see someone being picked on.

we had been sailing along happily until a little politics and personal resentment reared it's ugly head and it got jumped on after several attempts to qwell it using reason. unfortunetly some people simply are not suited to this type of medium as they can not deal with issues without focusing on personalities.

a few are still a little touchy as it has disturbed what had been a very pleasent place.

aulro was put together to fill a "void" in the scene and has been very successfull at it IMHO

the void was a place to meet and "banter" on or about landrovers and anything remotely associated, with out the hassles and or politics of more formal groups or clubs or those that wish to impose themselves on others.

it's been my experience that anyone that can fit into the void will find the place helpful and interesting.

From the mention of the tree falling on a Defender I think I know who Snailbait is.

From the email address gkc@smartchat.com.au I *know" who RagingRover is.

They are not the same person.
