    AULRO custom mods section?

I particularly enjoy seeing what modifications other owners have done to their machines. Especially at show and shine meets where you can stickybeek into other vehicles and see what weird and wonderful things they've done.

So with this in mind I would like to suggest a section, post or gallery on the AULRO where guys and gals can present their custom modifications with images, description, plans (if it's not patented  ) materials and tools needed etc. Something along the lines of the custom mods section on the www.d-90.com website. I reckon we have some very innovative landy owners in AU. Thoughts?

I'm thinking more of a detailed description with photos on how a specific mod was done. When I first bought my landy .. I was a complete newbie to gearing up for an overland trip, being short on cash I found numerous ideas on the web i.e: wiring a dual battery system, home made drawers, fitting a sill water tank etc. and it sure saved the budget.

The members rides area was set up for this.
This way you see the ride they have and the work they have done to it.

Now while we have some great entrys in there we are yet to have a detailed write up complete with how to do it photo's.

But I am sure someone will step forward.

Anyone can do their own fix up/modification photo shoot complete with running text comentary.

I did this one in the Tech section
    http://www.aulro.com/modules.php?name=Foru...highlight=saggy

Very basic but it was a 5 minute job that didnt need a lot of detail.

All you need to do, is load the photo's you want to use into the gallery then link them into the right area of text as you are writing it up.

Failing all that, myself or some of the other members here are always willing to help if anyone needs it.
