Not a criticism 8)

I've posted a topic "fire walls (of the virtual kind)"

    Norton rings a bell here.

And that seems to me to be a common denominator

I'm wrestling with a new system which is suffering from koyaanisqatsi

you need to allow session cookies in internet explorer 6

tools > internet options > privacy > advanced > tick - override automatic cookie handling > tick - always allow session cookies

norton internet security tends to play havoc with session cookies, well it tends to play with entire systems but thats another topic

somewhere in it you can tell it to always allow cookies from www.aulro.com and aulro.com

mac's running ie also have the problem but cannot override the default cookie handling, which is why the surpeme being gave us mozilla... tho i tend too use safari the most.

Yes everytime, never knew what it meant anyway, obviously not life threatening. I have just overcome from my understanding a known problem of not being able to post new forum (invalid_session), by turning everything off and rebooting after deleting all ccokies, as helped by the moderators, thanks guys.
