    THE 109

    8) well i saw this beast today,
    its a series sorta something front, with the army cut out front guards,cab with sliding windows in the doors, is in khaki, with checker plate bits on the guards and bonnet,defender type grille/headlights, rear diff centre strenthening and heaps more.
    horny vehicle in any ones language.
    the 109 is the plate.
    its set up as cab tray back, very high, coil sprung,
    3.5 v8 'supercharged!!!!!!! [at 100 k plus on the back hwy, it stands tall and goes, leaves my 3.9 disco for dead!]
    i took some pics, but need help to put them up.
    [not real good, its hard to take pics on the hwy in peak friday night traffic at 110 k's]

    to the owner thanks for the hwy fun [irresponsible, no! but to those around p'raps,!, they don't understand]
    shame i was already 10 k's past my exit, would have liked to stop and talk about it.
    and in my defence, i was carrying about 450 gk of stuff and full fuel

    wow it goes, i want one.

    Yeah - lets have a look :!:

    There's a letter in the latest 4wd monthly or 4x4 australia from some fool that's building a vehicle on a 130 Land Rover base (that's the good bit).

    For some reason he's grafting a Toyota Dyna body onto the LR chassis :? :!: :?:
