Thread: Well now i know my ABS works

Mate i know what you mean i have been up here a while and have seen some shocking displays of driving. indicators are a option use them if you feel like it no stress if you dont. tailgating is a sport, speed limits are only a guideline, dont look when you pull out or change lanes just go for it, a p plate is a cams racing licence, see how long you can drive while texting, only stop at red lights if the cops are around, and never ever give way at round a bouts. keep these tips in mind and you will be ok.

There's a "Townsville bad drivers exposed" page on Facebook that has plenty of room for venting too! I use it frequently!

You would think they get their licenses out of cereal boxes up here.

Anyway thats the end of my rant haha. Just needed somewhere to vent.

When I was working Townsville is the only place when hiring a car I would pay the extra on the insurance so I wouldn't have a high excess. I found they drove too fast , changed lanes without indicating & drove through red lights & stop signs

And yes the bloody red lights. I think i must have missed the memo making red lights an option in Townsville. Never seen so many red lights ignored in my life.

My daughter has lived in Townsville for years - & I have to admit I hate getting into a car with her!
Just totally casual about the road rules, tailgates, gets so Agro & drives like we had to be there yesterday.
I hate driving in cities so take it very seriously.
