Your about bang on mate would be around 2004 i really noticed a huge change in driving attitude.

Its not just Townsville. I was in Lismore last weekend. In 10 minutes I met three cars driving at night with no lights, a bloke cut in when I was on a roundabout so I had to slam on the brakes to miss him and another bloke just came over into my lane without even looking. And all I was doing was driving from one side of town to the other! God knows what it's like if you live there.

Yeah there are definitely bad drivers everywhere but easily the biggest concentration i have ever come across is Townsville.

On the other hand the best drivers i have ever seen where in Wagga, lived there for 18 months (No I'm not an AJ) and never had a problem. Probably because no one is ever in a rush to get anywhere and country folk seem to be a lot more considerate.

Not only in Townsville. Seems like all of Ohio too!

Our licenses come in CrackerJack boxes.

Seem to panic brake 2 or 3 times a day around here.
