    Experience of DTV retune

Living in Sydney I followed the notices to retune last Tuesday. I can't find any difference. I still have 2 sets I have not retuned and all stations appear ok. A relo I retuned for today had lost ch7 but I didn't. Another mate retuned and now has lost ch7 and 10. Worked fine on Tuesday before retune. What is going on??? Jim

Our ABC reception was shocking, unless it was raining nearby or on a smokey (bushfire) day. After the retune, it's still not perfect but at least it's watchable most of the time now.
We've lost TVS but that was unwatchable before anyway.

Some might need to swing their antenna toward the Kurrajong repeater.

Scouse, is yours aimed toward Sydney or Bulli?

Sydney but I want to hook up a second aerial to pick up Wollongong (which needs to be directed at Knights Hill I believe).

Yes, Knights Hill. I couldn't remember the name. I have an antenna facing that way, together with one aimed at Sydney.

I'll retune when I get home although we don't watch free to air.

I thought you had your reception sorted out......I was going to ask Ian for the number of the guy who did your aerial work but maybe I won't now.

The Sydney South West antenna is about 5km from me & I get nothing from it .
It is on the top of Razorback & I'm in the foothills so maybe it's signal is shooting over me.
