No but my late wife did.
I warned her that it would rot her brain cells.
Stead I think it rotted mine, I didn't have hearing aids to remove in those days.
She couldn't stand Dr Who, I said well there ya go.

Agree, Felipe shoulda done what he did, as should others drivers sometimes.
I don't believe that "management" always have the right plan.
    But not all the time...............

F1 is the pinnacle of racing and as such it is designed to further develop technologies and improve race cars. If you look back at each rule change in the cars the engines get smaller, add or remove turbos, change gearboxs, add or reduce aero's, etc. but each time at the start of a season the cars are usually slower and then they develop the car and it is faster at the end of the season.
Kers, Drs, all these things are into road cars already (mazda, porche) so while these cars are slower now and take more driver input they WILL be faster by the end of the season and with 2 years development they will be faster than last years cars. If you remember Kers was just a little bit which didn't last very long, now it lasts for more than 30% of a lap. All of these improvements will end up in the road cars with more fuel economy and probably 50% on kers.

I was just watching some old footage on 7mate of the 1970 Grand Prix.
Everytime I watch those old ones, I'm amused at the amount of people/marshals/officials just standing at the side of the track while the F1's scream past. Literally right on the edges of the track.
    Love it.

Technically the F1 cars are getting better.

They dont go faster but every track they are quicker.

Their technology does flow onto our everyday cars.

Look at the spate of 3cyl, 900cc, 70+kw cars coming onto our shores.

And a lot of the motoring journalists say they are a good thing.

Lightweight chassis, superb brakes, incredible fuel consumption, better tyres than ever, electromechanical steering and gearboxes that you cannot sense changes in.

This is all flow on from F1....look back and see....you'll see F! used all those things.
