Quite a lot of non-poms in the UK, I think, including the Scots, Irish and Welsh.

Well, the seat reclining system on my sea in the A380 failed. The entertainment system on my seat locked up - the stewardess reset it and after that the controller failed so I couldn't turn on my light, call the stewardess, or control the inflight entertainment. I had music but I couldn't turn up the volume, not even using the touch screen. There were no other seats available.

We will see how the next leg HKG - LHR goes with Cathay goes. We board in 30 mins.

Obviously some A380 components are made in Solihull
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

What is also annoying her is that a couple of years ago she planned a trip for us to Antarctica and South America and I backed out a the last minute. Now she can't travel there because of medical issues.

I'm quite happy to stay home and not go anywhere.
Just seen this, are you mad, go its worth every minute of the day.
My wife and i travel and see things thousnads of years old that are still standing. We come home and see things that are a couple of hundred years old being demolished to make way for unit blocks. A visit to Europe makes you appreciate Australia more and realise what destruction we are reeking on the heritage.
