It would be nice if we could just manage exceptions by exception instead of the resources being applied to creating a rule for a very,very, very,very minor part of the population.

The needs of the many really should out way the needs of the few.

I would rather see the money wasted here spent on saving a few refugees or creating some jobs for those that want to get on with reality and move forward with their life.

You want to spend money on people who aren't Australian citizens and creating jobs for people who want to move on with their lives.

But you don't want to spend money on Australian Citizens so they can move on with their lives and perhaps get a job?
