More money is wasted on the Melbourne or Sydney fireworks each NYE than was spent once on Norrie's case.
At least a heap of us can get together and enjoy the fireworks each year. It brings communities together (at home or out) and spreads taxpayers funds across the community. This other nonsense does the opposite.

I hear you about the other imbalance too, but even if only a handful of families were re-housed, re-patriated or processed through Manus it would be a measurable and better use if funds than just making someone feel better about their sex life.

And why on earth do we all want to now have to bear the cost of an extra choice on every form and in every interview or instance where gender data collection is required? To make one (or a handful of) "special(s)" feel better?

Maybe we need to start looking for he real cause of the drama here. Let's get a witch hunt going to flush out all the people in the public service that are constantly satisfying their own vested interests or crazy desire to say "oh you poor dear, let me help you feel better".

This may just be another case of "snouts in the public trough" I reckon.

Are you going to make them another species because they don't fit your simplistic view of the universe?

Rather than waste tax payers money If you feel so inclined you may fund them) I think all these publicity seeking "minority's " should go here - Bridge Design & Engineering and get on with it.

    "Waste of taxpayers dollars"

I'm sure that in Australia there are sufficient taxpayers who don't mind their taxes paying for a society that removes inequalities for minority groups.

The courts are welcome to some of mine.

HaHaHAHA Im feeling "Unequal" because all this money has been spent on some limelight seeker! will the high court assist me in feeling "equal" ? Not bloody likely!!! And meanwhile aid organizations struggle to assist homeless family's and children around Australia with a fraction of what was spent on that shark bait! The Govt begrudges each dollar they ask for! Sorry heres my cup of care for the "thing" \_/ Bugger its empty!! / \

Disband the high court. Sensible advice as usual. Should we be doing that to appease your obviously hurt feelings, I wonder?

    What track?

This thread quickly became the usual rantings of bigots scrambling to find a "logical" argument to support their thinly disguised prejudices; in this case the main concern seems to be about saving money . Give me a break.

Sure, bring up something for discussion that doesn't seem right to you, but when you won't even consider logical counterpoints it's clear there is no interest in a discussion. It just comes off as a public spleen venting exercise for haters stewing in their own bile. Stew away, i'm outa here.

Why did you come in, in the first place? You haven't added to the thread either with this post which I find quite ironic

The on track was more about not making it personal rather than topic based nothing on this forum ever stays on topic so it would be pointless even asking that
