Sounds great. Like the worlds most boring episode of Q&A...

Discussing a policy is just current affairs, nothing more - discussing how and why a party introduced that policy is the political bit.
You just need to distinguish between them. If you can't leave the political aspect out of it, then maybe you shouldn't be commenting on it.
Back to the pension example, you can discuss a whole lot more than yes or no. Things like an ageing population, people living longer, etc can all be discussed without politics coming anywhere near it..

No one is stopping anyone from talking about politics
You just need to find yourself another forum to do it on![]()
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Just flicking back through this thread, it's instructive that it's considered OK to suggest that Norrie should be raped in prison, or that TV people are undercover child molesters, but NOT OK to talk about politics.
Weird, huh?
I say we blame Roverlord! He started all this!!!!![]()
I'm not having a crack at the mods or Inc - it's a tough gig and I'm not cut out for that sort of thing. I just think it's interesting what we do and don't find acceptable, as a group. Some of this stuff in this thread I would categorise as borderline hate speech, but others think it's ok. Some of the things I bang on about are acceptable to me but offensive to others. My point is that politics is where the line is drawn, and I find that both weird and instructive.
What happened to the rule about Politics and Religion??
Not complaining, or having a go, I just thought there were "Rules".......?
