    major trip check & service

    Am located in Bundaberg QLD & am looking for someone who specialises in servicing Land rover Defenders, the local dealer here swears at me if I go in there, so he is out of the equation, my local 4x4 shop I deal with says it would be better to get a full trip service & check from a specialist (he is good & honest). So, I head down to Brisbane area occasionally so that area is ok. Any suggestions in the Brisbane or in between area. Thanks for any help.

    Land Rover Special Vehicles had a comprehensive vehicle check list on the internet. I've downloaded it as an MS Works file. I'm not sure if it's still online. Try Landrover.com (default setting) scroll down the list of countries and get the special projects link. Maybe you can do most of it yourself, or at least give your honest mechanic a guide to work with.

    I get my Landy serviced there, and they are a good bunch.
    Make sure you book in, in plenty of time as they get quite busy. I know people come from the other side of Brissie to get their vehicles serviced there.

    The local Land Rover dealer swears to you, you say ?! 8O
