    Adam,
Isn't there an actual oil filter on the other side, not seen in this pic. Maybe take another pic of the other side, might give someone a better view for more ideas.

Someone has probably answered this before, but can a S2 tub be fitted up to a Defender chassis or is it a pain in the posterior ?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Hi Adam
The compressor oil is good. You need to squirt it in after the filter. If you put it in the filter it will clog with dust.
As somebody else suggested it could be an airtool auto oiler, which would be quite handy.
Call into a Supercrap store and have a look at one and see if its the same, you may even find an idiot in there who could tell you how its filled,BUT I DOUBT IT !!!!!!!

Not wishing to turn the thread from compressor to supercrap.

I was actually approached by a sales assistant at the aforementioned purveyor of assorted stuff and was asked if I needed assistance (I left my walking frame in the aisle and walked unassisted to the counter.... a miracle).

Do you have a lube stick....

    What?

Thinking "how do I begin explaining this?" ......."never mind" was my reply.. I expected him to say "try the chemist".

The local servo had it unassisted off the shelf self serve no questions asked.

    Self Oiler

You fill the self oiler by unscrewing the self tapping screw from the plastic housing taking care not to dislodge the very small O-ring fill the space with oil and replace the screw taking care not to strip the hole, the compressor will then oil itself when it's running cheers
