I am just north of Cairns. No rain as yet, but the horizon looks pretty dark. Winds are picking up to a moderate breeze at the moment. I have the house cleaned up as well as I can. The animals know something is going on, as my wife's cats are following me around.. Oh wait I think I need to feed them

Anyways, hope all of us in FNQ do well out of this storm

    Cheers,

    Ken

    Cyclone Ita

I have been watching ( 1.00 PM 11/4/'14 ) the last couple of hours the Tropical Cyclone Forecast Track Map, Tropical Cyclone Forecast Track Map Page (1)

Ita ( Category 5 ) is heading for Cape Flattery and Cooktown at the moment.

    Stay safe people.

Stay safe Ken, thinking of you blokes up there at the moment. A Cat 5 is not one I would like to go through - Cat 3 was bad enough.

disco man and bobs threads merged....As bobs was started first it looks like he started the original heading of this thread..

he didn't disco man did but as im sure you both have the same sentiments i.e wishing people to be safe and updating the thread with relevant info so I put them together. so we can keep it all in one place.
