I sold my first set of Super Oscars about 15Yrs ago when I sold a car. Wish that I kept them instead of buying a new set of hella rallye 2000 to replace them. Recently got a set of cibe oscar sc's. They are fantastic lights and nice and compact too.

I have been looking for a pair of new Oscar SC's without success.
If yours were new, where did you get them?

    Thanks

My local auto elec in Boonah had some on the shelf. The were pretty expensive but fitted perfectly in the small space I had. Beautiful lights. They only had one set and last time I was in there they had no cibe lights. Perhaps old stock. You could try them I think they a called fassifern auto electrical.

Had a set of spreads on my Datto 1600, sold the car, kept the lights. They went onto every car ever since with the exception of a work XG Falcon van I could not make the mounting work. Actually just got rid of them as they needed new reflectors and new glass.
    Still great lights though.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

The ex still has a set of Super Oscars I put on her then new GU in 2001.
A mate was the manager at Race and Rally so was able to procure for a good price.
I'd been running some for years on my previous vehicles that came off an old friends rally car/s that had also done a Round Australia trial !

Still run Cibie Z beams as the main headlight in the Deefer, still brilliant after all these years

Hansa still import Cibie AFAIK, and their Nite Stalker range are Taiwanese made Cibie knock offs.
