Not Wrong, but what p###ed me off more than any thing else was that I had to plead guilty to “driving in a manor dangerous” other wise if I pleaded not Guilty and lost, I could have got 3 years suspension when it was the other mongrel that was slamming on the breaks and try to lane jam every one else. But as I said the judge was pretty good considering.
Regards

Forgive my play on the typo:

"But least it wasn't on a public road...me lud"

and maybe you didn't do it on his manor.

One can't afford to lose one's bottle.

This is one of the advantages to riding a motorbike. If you have people driving like a tosser you just wait until the inevitable red light or traffic jam. At this point you can lane split up to them and do all manner of nasty things to them. Hard backed gloves are particularly good for punching off wing mirrors. I used to also ride motor bikes until last year, when I split lanes, pulled up at an intersection and took off before "lady nasty" in a Laser (who had been waiting for ages apparently) moved off. This seriously ****ed her off.
Now here is the bastard bit.
Having this person sitting right up my muffler blasting the horn sort of ****ed me off. I turned to give her a wave, you know the one where you sort of wave but your middle finger sticks up.
This did not have a very calming effect upon her that I had hoped. This increased agitation from her resulted in her ACCIDENTLY running into me. The last thing I remember hearing as I did a big flying W through the air was "DIE BIKER SCUM". (I added that for dramatic effect)
I hit the ground so hard it split the cheeks of my butt like a ripe tomato. Take it from me that really really stings. Worse was to come however, laying on the ground she gets out and proceeds to abuse me for damaging her car.
Anyhow after the obligatory free trip to hospital. 4 fractured vertebras, numerous stitches plus 3 months off work flat on my back ended my motor cycle days.
Now, I preach love not war. If someone cuts me off, or I happen to **** someone off, I wave cheerily from the armoured confines of my Landy give them lots of room, breath deep, and get over it. I can’t afford another crash like that physically or financially.
Keep the shiny side up I say.
Cheers Tyrepower.

The lady got into some serious trouble as you could imagine.
However so did I. The motor cycle I was riding was an Enduro Bike and had been stripped for competition
That = No mirrors, no indicators, Taped up headlight and taillight, full off road tyres (Illegal for road use) and the real killer - expired rego……. I had ridden the bike at a natural terrain MX track that day. And as I only lived 500m from a mate’s place who owns a pressure washer, took the risk thinking what could happen in 500m. As I found out, plenty. I now know that most accidents occur within 1.5km from home. So have added to that stat.
All is well now though. No real ongoing problems. I have had worse accidents falling out of trees, playing footy and racing. A simple rule is the faster you go the harder you stop.
I needed to slow down a bit anyway. Have sold the bike traded the 300tdi and bought a TD5 Extreme, beautiful machine. Am planning to take a couple of months off next year, buy a camper trailer and head over to Tassie. Trying to talk the lady into going via the Anne Beadel Highway again.

Cheers Tyrepower.

Anthony I do know where she lives.......
My solution would de an old contractors trick.
You use "Round Up" Every night as your out walking the dog take along a spray bottle. when you walk past, you spray a bit more of the garden bit by bit. Then sit back and watch as they dig and ponder what's killing the garden. Very non confrontational, and fits in with my deep breathing calming manner now . Not that I've done this mind. Just thinking about it makes me all warm and fuzzy though.
