Ok, I'm back home now and can type more here than I can on my phone.

I'll try and answer some questions as best I can. First, there are moderators, super moderators, administrators and the almighty owner. Not all have the word 'Moderator' or whatever they are under their avatar - why does it matter if they do or don't? You can see the list of mods quite easily - we're not hiding or trying to be sneaky, we're here to help - and that's what happens 99% of the time. Answering questions, moving threads to the right sections, etc. Occasionally there is a need to let someone know that they are stepping outside the rules - this is usually a friendly reminder to go and read the terms and conditions of entry, and 99% of the time, everyone's happy with that. Infractions are not given out lightly, and these things are discussed by several mods before a decision is made.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, this forum isn't a democracy. The owner has set out rule for everyone (even mods) to follow. We try and be even handed and consistent with what we do, but like everything in life, you can't please everyone all the time - no matter what is done, someone on one side of the fence will see it differently to another - that's just human nature.

But, on a whole, the balance is maintained and most people are happy and have fun coming back. There are also those that just pop in here for help or advice with their LR, and that's just fine too - it's what we're all here for really isn't it? The common interest we love to share and help others with.

So, anything else you need to ask - I'm (almost) always here, happy to help out.

Oh. And I don't think the other Mods have run away - I think they've gone to bed - as I am in 5 minutes.

Sorry if that wasn't clear in my earlier post, I'm in an utterly crap mood.

And Sheerluck, the wildlings are still pointing and grunting at stock rims on commodores and getting the right angle on their caps. I think the moderators of this here Land Rover forum might be a bit beyond them currently
