    Speed? No. Coffee, yes.

Unfortunately, the coffee intake precludes the afternoon nap.

(I shouldn't have had those two double espressos. I'm sure my heart shouldn't be beating this fast. And my wife keeps nagging me tO cOme down off the ceiling light )

I wish to compliment all participants in one of the most entertaining sequences of posts in quite a while

Along with the plethora of pithy (no I do not lisp) retorts, the general level of grammar and punctuation has been well above average.

The apostrophe has not been abused and used every time there is a plural ... but several persons, no names mind you, still need to understand that the apostrophe used with "its" as in it's means " it is". For the possessive it's simply "its" . e.g covers its face with its hands

Ummm... while I'm in the vein: asterix is a cartoon cat! An asterisk is the "little star" symbol for typographical use....

We are a cut above the average because we drive Land Rovers...let's maintain the standards please!

The term "Moderator" is extensively used in some religions denoting those who are in charge... seems appropriate ... the LR religious fervour exhibited on this forum makes for a broad church indeed long may it continue

Don't blame you Arthur. I quite like a bit of chopin myself.

His Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano is my favourite.

In news just in, the self-appointed nominee know as "Tombie" has been seen out in public today, obviously on the campaign trail.

While the reports are still unconfirmed at this stage, there is a strong rumour that he has even been seen kissing babies.

We will keep you advised with regular updates of any developments, as they come to hand. Film at 11.

I heard on the ABC news, "Strange man wearing beard warmer terrorises children.
Police are still looking for the suspect who escaped in a white four wheel drive."

    Thread Hijack by the 'Tree'

This tree as a couple of AULRO members can tell you, was a big one.

Pulling stuff out of the way.

The Bloke in the Cherrypicker, dropping the top is Mick.

The Trunk, with a heap of limbs to clean up around the stump.

It's down and Mick placed it right in the middle of that twelve foot gateway.

Now it's time for my Poppy nap.
