RACQ Tinting $320, however trying to track down a guy at BNE Airport who does all the new BMW's for the Dealers, very good write ups.

What amazes me is the overcharging. They sub the work and double the cost.
Generally they do not do this work themselves.
Some you pay extra for some you do not.
The old Gold City LR in Kalgoorlie did not jack up the cost like that. They may have added $40 or $50 but that was about all.
When I bought my D1 they would not overcharge for items LR did not supply as accessories (tinting and snorkel at the time). LR accessories were much dearer (bull bar, tow bar etc) but I was lucky as they included these free for me at the time as they were building business and the marque at the time.
Rarely would I buy genuine accessories from any dealer. How they can justify such huge markups is just ridiculous.

Having worked in the land rover dealership in Brisbane I can tell you that the salespeople get spifs for them. Or extra commission for all the add ons

That goes for that load of bull anti rust thing.

This is really why they push them on to you.

They mentioned they do not do the sunroof as it may crack. I have seen this mentioned elsewhere.

    I wonder why?
