I have no time delays in this forum unless MY computer is running slow....which again is a situation between rotten old copper and an IP who restricts my speeds sometimes.

methinks those having delay issues have personal problems....resolve them yourselves or see the padre if it becomes to hard to handle....

the delay is because the inbuilt search engine searches consume to much i/o thus slowing the system down

it was 40 sec till the other week when i dropped it down to see how it affected the system

it has affected it in peak hours but remains acceptable....

    clear as mud?

I actually thought is was 40 seconds and most of the time is not a worry but I am getting a bit dottery and sometimes hit the Your Posts instead of New Posts so have to wait a while to go where I want.

As I said no issue for me but interested to know why it is so.

Um... HTFU princess..... life is a delay tactic for death..... don't be in such a hurry, this forum is fine I have been on 3 other forums over the years all to do with wooden boat building etc, one uses the same software as here which is most likely the reason I find this site easy and have had zero problems (seriously)... any hoo, just to add, I came into ownership of my disco about 6 months after joining here, I honestly feel that on this forum there is an awesome array of information from talented members. there is robust debate, there are self absorbed highly opinionated members who won't listen to reason and then there are those who debate with passion and empathy to those in opposition............ basically a bloody good place to listen and learn, good job "Inc" and all who post. Time for another Bourbon

    He'll be back

Hi All just joined the ranks of the LR
Had a GQ patrol and it was unstoppable off road - modest modifications but very "agricultural"
Now own a 2003 D2 TD5 for offroad but everyday driver as well.
Drives well no problems -no 3 amigos - no oil leaks!
Beautifully comfortable - have a long list of modifications/upgrades which I will need to get some advice from the forums here
    Will post some pics later
    He'll be back.

Hmmm, maybe if he loses patience so quickly, then he will most likely be back in a boring old patrol in no time flat. It's a pattern/ learnt behaviour you know...
