To stuff a run flat he must have ignored the TMPS that advises at least one tyre has a pressure problem. Or it had not be set correctly.
From memory you can keep driving for 200 miles or could be KM at a max speed of 50mph/80kph.
I had a 320D in the the UK, only had one flat which the TPMS picked up. Had to check tyre pressure to workout which was the problem tyre, which was only, at the time of the puncture, 10psi lower.
Got the puncture repaired the next day and all good again.
