with regards to defender styling........they got it right 50 years ago!!
every other car truck 4wd etc. is still trying to get it right. they keep changing design every year for the last how many years and will change again next year.

the defender was to ceases production this year i think......but was then decided to run for another 7 years. its production might be limited. but then again who knows.................

for something thats meant to be stopping production, they have re-introduced the 90 series and sales exceed supply. i think it may be here for another fifty years yet!!

How hard would it be to convert a disco v8 to a TDI200-300 diesel engine ? Like are the engine mounts in all the same spot, or is not worth it !!! What would be invovled ?

I worked out ages ago that if I do 20,000kms a year, it would take me 1-2 years before I start recouping the install cost. Just have to find the money for the installation !!!
