New Patrol Advertisement

Has anyone seen the new Nissan Patrol advertisement??

For those who have not it goes something like this.

- Guy driving along in the country in stormy weather 8O
- Tree falls across the road and blocks the way
8O - Guy jumps out of the Patrol and starts lifting the fallen tree (????)
- Gets really grubby
- Opens the door to jump in and sees a leather clad, beautiful interior.
- Pulls out a cake of soap and starts washing himself in a puddle (pouring rain) before getting back into the car.

There is a great opportunity for Land Rover to do a rip off whereby the same blokes drives a Defender, gets filthy dirty and jumps straight it and drives home!! Could do a follow up of the car hosing the inside of the Defender in his driveway.

It is worth a chuckle!

I used to love the Disco add where a filthy mud choked Disco got hosed down by two huge elephants, came out all cut and polished like ... 8)

There used to be some good Landy adds ....

Hi all, yeah its not much of an add, pretty stupid really, why you would want leather seats out in the bush i dont know, mind you if he was driving a defender he could have driven over the little twig without having to get out and get dirty in the first place. Matt

Do you mean that now I can't drive my P38a in the bush?

Actually, leather may not get marked up as badly as cloth if you were muddy. The leather would clean a lot easier.

It's the carpets I'm more worried about.
