My wife and I play ad spotto. We yell spotto at any ad that we may be even slightly interested in. It's amazing how little we have to say spotto. Companies are paying millions of dollars to advertise products I don't buy or am even remotely interested in buying. It just proves that the world is full of chimps....planet of the apes is real.
PS. None of my kids ever watch free tv or foxtel. That means the advertising $$$ is totally wasted on them and they are the future.

While you may think they are wasting their dollars, I can assure you they would not spend the money if there was no return. It is very easy to track revenue versus an ad campaign - our company does it all the time, and targets its dollars where the returns are. You may think that every ad sucks and has no relevance or any persuasive powers, but you would be surprised at how your spending habits are subtlety nudged from time to time without you being aware of it.

Not all advertising works on everyone, but some advertising works on all of us.

But, in a nutshell, I agree that most TV ads do suck big time....

I suppose I did buy 2 Brazilian Butt Lifts....one for each cheek. Damn subtle ads...

Just watched a telly ad for two second hand Holland harvesters.
Now, what can I do with those?
