I see someone has commented on the spelling.
It should be "forest", not "forrest".Maybe try naming the page with correct spelling?
Also, there is no apostrophe in "4WDs" - no apostrophes in plurals. What have you been teaching that boy, Tank?![]()
My Son, Myles (Tank Jr.) has a page on Facebook asking 4WD'ers and other interested people to post their "Likes" on
https://www.facebook.com/Corinforest4WD
NPWS have closed this area, amongst others, cutting off popular off-road areas for us to explore/travel.
If your concerned about more areas being locked up, go to the Facebook page and register your "Like" and leave a comment if you wish, Thanks, Regards Frank.

RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
Sorry - I am a bit confused here. Corin Forest is inside Namadgi National Park which has never been open to 4wding.
Are you infact talking about the tracks off the Corin Forest road before you reach the Forest on the eastern side of the Park?
If you are in fact talking about Corin Forest itself then I think you are flogging a dead horse as the ACT Govt has given a definite NO to all approaches to open up some sections of Namadgi National Park to 4wd.

Ron, quite proud of his spelling, well now I am after seeing how his mates spell and their Grammar, it takes me a while to decipher what they write and the number that can't read, spins your head, Regards Frank.
Garry, I have no idea where or what Corin forest is or isn't, maybe you could leave a comment on the Facebook page, all I know (heresay) is that tracks are being closed to make a Nature Reserve.
I put this post up for my Son as a favour, I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, Regards Frank.
Sorry I do not have facebook.
In dealing with the ACT government on car issues - ****ing into the wind comes to mind - but good luck.

Sorry for the momentary laps in concintration with the spelling.
We are in fact talking about the tracks to the left a kilometer or 2 up Corin forest rd and also the ones to the right.
As far as we know it was crown/gov land and it was taken over by the tidbinbilla nature reserve hence it being locked off, so our aim is to get a partition to have it re-opened.
Yeah if its the corin in the act Garrys right you may as well go **** in a stiff breeze
You can't even drive up brindabella road at the moment cause you might enjoy free snow

I must admit that is an area I have always intended to try out but never got around to it.
I suppose from what 460cixy has said the roads are closed due to the snow usual action from authorities - a little snow falls and they close the roads
I was thinking of taking a drive for a look see today but I don't think I will bother.
