just picked up my new no5 trailer from minto auctions. left sunday morning from sw coast vic and made it to Sydney sunday late arvo. bright and early Monday morning at auction place and after an hour of messing around they roll out my trailer that I never had the opportunity to inspect before my $409 winning bid. have to say pleasantly surprised for the price. a brand new set of tyres fitted prior to auction probably worth the winning bid amount. the old steel trex but still ok on a trailer. I took with me a pair of wheels and tyres along with hubs and bearings to suit a no5. but needed nothing. was the most uneventful trip ever. after hooking up a light board and checking wheel nuts I left Sydney around 10am and was back home by 11pm Monday night. my only regret is that I didn't buy a couple more to on sell back in Victoria. all in all, great run and I now have a great trailer. I would like to thank the members from this site that offered their help before I left. never met these people before but I had offers of borrowing pintle hooks to using facilities in Sydney if I needed them. you all know who you are and many thanks from this humbled member.
