If it's true, lucky fellow.
You did say the UK press. More than likely not true.
The UK newspaper, The Sun, has named Rolf Harris as the Australian involved in the on going sex scandal in the UK, he has been arrested, but not charged. Bob

Well Bob, the key phrase there is "not charged". The Sun are typical tabloid scum, and by naming him in the press it becomes guilt by association.
However, even Blind Freddy would have worked out that the "Australian entertainer living in Maidenhead" was Rolf Harris. (I used to work there, and a colleague of mine used to work for a bit of extra cash in Rolf's local filling station)
I truly hope that this whole situation is sorted out so that justice is found for the victims.

People in positions of trust are probably more likely to abuse them.
And yes, it was a bit of a circus fair, how many prominent Australian performers of his exact age and location do you suppose there are.
Was anyone really surprised Jimmy Savile wasn't exactly an upstanding chap, he looks like Gollum after a week in Vegas.
Not sure, but I like Rolf as a character. The investigation is the Yewtree one centered around Jimmy Saville, not all the incidents connected to it are child sex abuse and some people called in would not even be connected to saville directly. He may have just been around at the time of an incident that occurred at the BBC studios.. no info given so who knows.
I'll reserve judgement for now.
This has been known all over the interweb since his arrest in March. The give away was when it was reported one day that the suspect was 82, then the next day 83. It didn't take long for people to work out who it was.
The interesting thing is that it has taken the notoriously savage British media until now to report his name when there was no official suppression of it. Perhaps they were being super cautious after the Leveson enquiry and given the fact that Rolf is so close to the royal family.
