just a warning to you and all dog owners to be mindful of dog's eyes drying out in airconditioned rooms. My dog Snoopy' s eyes suffered this problem coz of my airconditioned room and it cost me over $3000 to fix the problem. He had hospital stays and operations on his eyes to remove ulcers and as a consequence now i have to put drops in his eyes every day till he passes on. But at least i am now aware of the problem as i had no idea before. As a precaution i put drops in his eyes (just normal human type lubricating drops) at night if its hot with the a/c on, and his medicated drops in the morning as normal. He's all good now but still put in drops every day. I feel sorry for the poor bugger that this happened but now i know of the problem i take precautions. Hope this helps someone....

Gotta look after our best mates

    Cheers Rod

Can also happen to some people,as AC units pull the moisture from the air.

Unhappy Buried my little mate today

Had my little mate Toby for 15 years, had to have him put down today. I knew it was coming for the last few days. The hardest decision I've ever had to make. Miss him terribly already. Took him out walking the last couple of days to his favourite spots. Used to walk 6.5 km nearly every day - he was flat out going 500m, but he enjoyed it. Fed him chicken breast and leg ham the last couple of days. The least I could do for all the love he has given back to me and family.

X 2 Tom. They are our best mates. Hard to see them go but its gonna happen unfortunatly. Im watching my best mate Snoopy slowing down already and hes only just turned 12. Dont wanna see him go either but its inevitable with our best buddies. Unconditional love they give. If only we humans could do the same...

    Cheers Rod.

Here's Delilah, looking guilty and checking out the muddy scratches she just inflicted on my leather seats after jumping in, after she escaped!
