    It is pretty simple.

    Dig hole.
    Excrete and wipe.
    Burn used dunny paper.
    Backfill hole.

    Several weeks of booze ......................

I'd need a bloody tandem trailer.

Much easier to just carry enough for a few nights, and buy more along the way.
    Cheers .........

Yep that is the key ***burn*** your toilet paper after use, animals will otherwise dig it up and it blows all over the place. Even in May there was a fair bit of toilet paper around Cape York, i can't imagine what it's like towards the end of the dry. I can imagine it would be a bit of a downer seeing toilet paper in a remote section of the CSR...!

Burning it also keeps the flies away while you cover up the hole you dug.

There are chemicals on the market now, that are bio-degradable. And, there is toilet paper designed to break down. I can't remember the name, there is a portable toilet chemical now, where you can safely dispose of the waste in a hole in the ground. The other alternative, is disposing of the waste at dedicated disposal points, usually at caravan parks, & some boat ramps. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

My porta potti holds two or even three weeks of crap easy. Number 1's in the bush, number 2's in the potti. Easy. And you don't leave campsites stinking like **** and animals don't have anything to dig up. Burn or carry out your loo paper and it's like you were never there.

IMHO you should never **** in a hole in the ground in a bush environment. There is just no need these days. I reckon you are just being plain lazy if you do. Again, my opinion so if you don't agree that's fine. But I may call you a ****!
