I am afraid that I am not in Melbourne but you won't regret one!
When we were looking for ours original RTT nearly 5 years ago in South Africa we were subject to what was available on the second hand market. We were hoping that a Hannibal or Howling moon would come up at the right price.
We were lucky and got a 1.2 Howling Moon Deluxe which was old but the right price and served us well until an altercation with a carpark and the zips wore out which prompted a replacement with another Howling Moon, this time a 1.4 stargazer.
I have friends with both hannibal and chinese type RTTs and I am so glad we have Howling Moon.
The major drawback with Hannibal that I see is the inability to remove canvas or cover easily. whilst you shouldn't need to do this if you have to repair or replace poles, zips, hinges or canvas being easily able to slip the canvas on and of in minutes or cover on/off in seconds seems a big advantage. A friend had to replace the cover on their hannibal recently and it took some hours for hannibal staff to do at the factory!
As long as you are happy with the whole RTT thing then even if you cannot get a Howling Moon to look at believe me they are excellent tents!
Cheers
John
