Be interested to hear your thoughts on it Dave. We've only recently started using it - mainly for the crushing plants at the moment, but moving towards using it with the mobile fleet and for managing stores inventory / purchasing as well in the not too distant future.

It's better than what we were previously using (a combination of lists on whiteboards and Excel spreadsheets) - but obviously not the same as some of the larger packages, like MainPac / SAP / Pronto etc.

We went with them mainly because of price - and the fact that they're an Australian company with local (Queensland) support. The company I work for is also Brisbane based.

I haven't come across MEX before - past experience has been mainly with Pronto (which is pretty similar to MEX to use) and the old DOS based version of JDE.

AggFlow is a process simulator - US based. Used mainly for design of crushing plants in mining / quarrying applications. There's others out there (I also use one called BRUNO) - but AggFlow is probably the best of the lot across a broader range of applications - others are more product specific.
    Cheers .........

i look after a small national log transport company's computer systems in qld nsw and vic

i only get to play with it when it plays up or if the machines it is running on have issues.

their support team are very good i have to say.

these days it is a much nicer product than it was. it was access based but is now ms sql based.

the mob i do work for are pretty impressed with it...
