I would like to have a Bristol Blenheim 3 S. British coach building and solid US V8.

Ugly as a hat full of arses mind you but somehow defiant.

    Not this one http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/bristol-blenheim-iv.htm ?

    Ron
    Yes, Ron. Not that one.

It amuses me that so many people here (being LR fans) are wanting something really really really fast. It's not like you can use the speed anywhere, really.

Another couple of cars I like...

The old Rolls Royce Corniche convertibles (liek in "Arthur" or was it "10" ?)
    and
the very old (pre war) Bentleys and Bentley race cars.[/b][/quote]

    mmmmmm Rolls Royce.

    Arrrgggghhh Bentley.

Now we are talking cars, and cars with real class too. Matt

If we are talking Rolls Royce and Bentley I would not mind cruising around while resting the Defender in a:

Bentley Continentental R Mulliner from around 1957

As for Rolls, the Corniche is very nice but how about a 65 Silver Cloud 3 Park Ward Drophead ( the one with the sloping headlights)

    Also don't knock the Camargue.

Always liked the Wolsley, my Dad had a 6/90, great car.

First car I ever rode in was a Ford 10 , Dads first car was a Morris 10.
My first car was a Ford Popular , upright model, linkage brakes, natural
convection cooling, steered like double decker bus ... ops:

    Pardon my digression ... ops:
