    The crew on the TV show mythbusters, on discovery channel looked into this, they found that the cd's were more prone to exploding or breaking up when they were hot. Matt

    and most cd players run very hot.

    i had one unit here that would open the tray without warning and a disc took off like a frisbee across the workshop ... fastest i ever seen my now ex tech's move [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img]
