I tend to agree - they look great in pics but not so in real life - the 6 cylinders look a bit girlie and the track is too narrow for the body. They look good with wider wheels to fill out the guards.
The series 3s look the best with a more purposeful look with a wider track and flared wheel arches. Despite what you read the series 3s had the best performance as you would expect from the last of the series.
