New Vehicle

Hey guys I must say first off this was a hard decision cause we really love the Disco aspecially me and Kerry was even warming to the Defender but unfortunately we have decided to go for the 100series Cruiser solid axle front turbo diesel it basicly came down to carrying space, towing power and depreciation but mainly towing, the tojo is much stronger in this department, no amount of begging could change Kerrys mind it is a family thing and i was out voted and because of our mishap it spead up the decision as it was my mates tojo (where were you Noddy & Kimba) that pulled us out and towed us back to camp then towed our trailer to Mittagong then hired a car carrier and the cruiser pulled us back to Sydney this was what changed Kerrys mind, because up to that point it was going to be the Disco, me i like the Disco the cruiser is to truck like for my liking but hey i tried my best trust me i did. So thats it unfortunately i will have to look for a old Rangie or county or even a series Landy to come play with you guys cause i won't feel comfortible in the Cruiser knowing the bagging i'll get or even worse and being the only Tojo owner on the forum, well there it is guys give me your best fella's i've got broad sholders

Congrats on the decision Redback! Hope all goes well with the Tojo (at least it will not be one of the IFS models).

    Family solidarity is very important.

Sorry Kimba was not there to help out, he will be mightly disappointed as he throught he had convinced Kerry to join the 'Fender army'!

Shall we start the search for a 2-door Rangie??

I didn't think you could get solid axle front turbo diesel 100's anymore. Unless its one of the earlier ones?

Best of luck with it, i love my Landies but i can see the appeal in the tojo as a tourer.
