Circulation booster -It definately ain't Broken

Due to my very poor circulation Heather bought me one of those circulation booster machines. They are a TENS machine, they send electric pulses through your soles and cause contractions of your feet muscles/calves.
The machine arrived in the mail yesterday, so I tried it last night, at first I though we got a dud, followed the instructions and nothing!.
I ended up cranking it up to level 90 before I got any sensation or response in my feet. The boys came in and noticed the new toy and wanted to have a try on it. Kris & Brendon almost jumped out of the skins when they put their feet on it. It was up too high! for comfort They found it bearable at level 2.
Seems my circulation is not very good having it up at 90 to get a response and they only needed setting 2. Oh at least it isn't broken and works.

I'd be interested to hear of the long term results. We considered one for my wife.

They're brilliant Ron. We've had one for ages.

I'm also guilty of turning it up too high - have to if I want to get any real result out of it - but SWMBO and daughter reckon I have it way too high.
    Cheers .........

I had some problems in my lower back muscles causing spasms and pain in my spine. the physio used these electric pads attached over the sore area.
Unusual sensation with the muscles contracting and releasing, I used to have a half hour session every morning on the way to work.
Brilliant the only thing that ever worked to heal my backpain, also had it later on a crook knee, the stimulation increases blood circulation and helps heal much quicker, Regards Frank.

    Do you have peripheral neuropathy?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

    funny you bring this up.
i mentioned to my exercise physio these machine last week and she said they were therapeutic only. no circulation increase or muscle exercise (contraction yes but not proper exercise).

V8Ian, Had to google it, yes suffer from Chronic pain along with other issues. Often get lightning bolt pain incidences shooting down my leg to my feet. A lot of stuff was masked due to large doses of sedative antidepressants. Since I stopped taking them (my Decision) I'm discovering all sorts of symptoms that were masked over the last 8 years
